History of the Project

REDUCTO is a project promoted by MUSITELLI.

During these 20 years of operation, MUSITELLI's contribution to the development of national audiovisual industry has been highly acknowledged as a strategic operator to attract international projects that select Uruguay's locations for filming commercials, short films, feature films, videoclips, TV programs and series, meeting top quality standards and technical requirements.

From a small rented shop at the beginning of the nineties, in 2001, MUSITELLI built its premises at Calle Vilardebó thus becoming the main supplier of film equipment and technical support, always renewing and incorporating cutting edge equipment on a permanent basis.

With the purchase in 2016 of an adjoining property where an old mechanics workshop of Conaprole Firm had been operating until then, the idea of developing an Audiovisual Production Center with a total area of 10,000 sq m (107639 sq ft) comprising film studios and flexible offices for the production of audiovisual content took shape.
REDUCTO was born as an independent project with its own operational and commercial management, but maintains the DNA of MUSITELLI.

MUSITELLI has enhanced REDUCTO to set up an Audiovisual Production Center in line with the most stringent standards of the industry. Located in a strategic area of the city, the project renovated a building erected over 80 years ago into a space that accommodates film studios, offices and areas for production which also integrate companies of complementary services with the purpose of gathering all audiovisual production processes, pre-production, production and post-production, in just one place.
