  • Which companies are based in REDUCTO?

    REDUCTO integrates production and service companies exclusively related to the audiovisual sector. To see a list of companies installed in REDUCTO click here

Multi functional and flexible offices

  • Does REDUCTO rent out offices?

    Yes. REDUCTO rents out offices so that, according to each project, producers and service companies related to the audiovisual sector can install themselves on a permanent or temporary basis. We have flexible and multi-functional spaces for costume, camera, and make-up tests, among others. For more information please contact us by email to info@reducto.uy

  • What services do these offices include?

    Basic services include high speed Internet connection, premium Wi-Fi, print zone, IP telephony with personalization of your configuration, IT support, physical security surveillance, access control system, alarm, CCTV system, cafeteria service, mobile medical emergency service provided by SUAT, cleaning service, meeting rooms, kitchenette, and parking.

Security

  • How do I access REDUCTO facilities?

    REDUCTO's entrance is in 1272 Vilardebó Street. For safety assurance of all REDUCTO's personnel, the guard at the gate will request your personal information for control and record of your entering the premises.

  • Personal belongings

    Each person is responsible for their own personal belongings such as mobile phones, laptop, garments, documents, bags, and tools, among others. Please take all possible precautions. REDUCTO shall not be responsible in case of missing or lost belongings.

  • Are underage people allowed to enter?

    Underage visitors can only enter the premises accompanied by a responsible adult and shall remain under their supervision at all times.

  • Are animals allowed?

    Animals are not allowed.

Parking

  • Can I drive my private car into the parking lot?

    The parking area is limited exclusively to visits for less than 1 hour, as well as to the loading and unloading by those companies installed in REDUCTO. A paid-parking system will be installed in the near future.

  • What about bicycles and motorcycles?

    There is a space provided for parking bicycles and motorcycles. Please consult SECURITAS security personnel.

Cleaning and recycling

  • How is it kept clean and tidy?

    We count on your cooperation for the maintenance of cleanliness, order and care of all REDUCTO's spaces. Each restroom is identified with a QR code. You can scan it and complete a short form whenever supplies are needed or maintenance is required.

  • Smoking area

    In accordance with current regulations, smoking is prohibited within closed areas of REDUCTO. You will find ashtrays available throughout the outdoor areas.

  • How does REDUCTO manage waste?

    In REDUCTO we recycle our waste. We promote a responsible and environmentally friendly manner of work. Please help us classify the waste by using the garbage bins and containers identified with the following colors:

    GREEN Clean bottles, plastics, glass, metal
    BLUE Clean paper and cardboard
    BLACK Dirty waste, food scraps, non-recyclable waste

    As provided by the City Council of Montevideo (IMM) the disposal of waste by REDUCTO in the trash containers located on the street for neighborhood use is prohibited.

Info & operation of studios

  • How many filming studios are there in?

    REDUCTO has two filming studios:

    Studio 1 de 710 sq m (7642.3 sq ft)
    Studio 2 de 375 sq m (4036.4 sq ft)

    Both studios are 6.20 m high (20.3 ft).

  • Are the studios soundproof?

    Not yet. The sound isolation and thermal treatment of the studios are planned for a second stage.

  • Do the studios have a lighting grid?

    Studios have a motorized LITEC grid that can be used to hang and suspend lighting equipment, lighting and grip accessories, curtains and backgrounds. The structure can be used as a point of support for scenography elements. It is imperative to pay attention and comply with the maximum load charts provided by the manufacturer in the following links: QD40SA (40x40) + RF40 (30x40). The structure can not be perforated or painted.

  • Do studios have lighting, grip and distribution equipment?

    Yes. Studios have basic equipment of grip accessories and electrical distribution. Lighting equipment is not included, which must be negotiated for each project.

    This equipment is not included in the studio fees.
  • Which gate shall I use to load and unload directly to the studios?

    If you have to load or unload equipment or materials, you shall use the gate at 1306 Vilardebó Street for a direct access to the outer concourse of the studios.

  • Parking - Can I enter my private car?

    Unfortunately, that is not possible. Space is limited for the operation of loading and unloading exclusively. Production has 2 parking spaces available included in the rental price of the studio.

  • Parking - Bicycles and motorcycles

    There is a space provided for parking bicycles and motorcycles. Please consult with REDUCTO security personnel.

  • Is there a space for the catering service?

    Yes. Prior to filming, the space devoted to catering hired by the production company will be agreed upon. The hired company shall be responsible for the management and classification of their own waste and must have all the corresponding permits and authorizations to carry out this activity. As provided by the City Council of Montevideo (IMM) the disposal of waste by REDUCTO in the trash containers located on the street for neighborhood use is prohibited.

  • Is there at REDUCTO a workshop for the construction of scenographies?

    No. At this stage of the REDUCTO project there is no workshop for the construction of scenographies yet. During the assembly of scenographies in the studios, saws, electric saws, cutting machines and sanders must have suction systems. Spray-painting is not permitted. It is forbidden to paint and perforate the walls, floors, lighting grids and furniture available inside and outside the studios.

  • Upon completion of the shooting, what shall I do with the equipment?

    The base grip & distribution equipment must be left in an orderly manner, classified and placed apart from the lighting order that enters the studio on time for each shooting.

  • Upon completion of the shooting, what shall I do with the scenographies?

    The scenographies must be dismantled as soon as possible and the production must remove the materials immediately after.

  • Upon completion of the shooting, what shall I do with waste and recyclable materials?

    REDUCTO can take care of managing the final disposal of all waste generated during shootings. This service has a cost which will depend on the amount of waste that we must remove.

  • Who manages the waste produced by the catering company?

    The catering company is responsible for the management and removal of their own waste.
